Minimum requirements

Before installing

Windows Server

Windows Server 2012 R2 or higher.
We recommend Windows Server 2025

Updated Plesk

Plesk Obsidian 18.0 or higher.
Make sure you have administrator access.

RAM Memory

At least 1GB of free RAM.
We recommend 2GB

Step by step

Installation process

Download and Install Flex Antivirus

Choose the installation method you prefer

Connect to the server via Remote Desktop (RDP) and open CMD as Administrator. Run the following command:

plesk bin extension.exe --install-url "https://www.flexservices.app/ext/plesk-flex-clam-server.zip"

Plesk will download and install the extension automatically. The process takes a few seconds.

Once completed, a shortcut will appear on the Desktop.

If you prefer to install manually, follow these steps:

  1. Download the .exe file from the official link:
    https://www.flexservices.app/ext/plesk-flex-clam-server.zip
  2. Access the Plesk panel with your administrator account.
  3. Go to Extensions → Extension Catalog → Upload Extension.
  4. Select the downloaded ZIP file and click Install.
  5. Wait a few seconds for the installation process to complete.

If you don't see the "Upload Extension" option, follow these steps to enable permissions in the panel.ini file

Configure protection

Activate the services you want to monitor and protect

Once installed, access the extension from the side menu. Activate real-time protection, configure automated scans and adjust quarantine options according to your needs.
