Questions and Answers

1.- How to install the extension?

Currently it is not in Plesk Catalog to search for and install it, so you must perform the installation manually by following these steps:

Connect to RDP and run the following command from CMD :

plesk bin extension.exe --install-url "https://www.flexservices.app/ext/plesk-flex-clam-server.zip"

Other methods :

1. Download the extension on your computer or server.
2. Download the manual with the installation steps.

2.- What are the minimum requirements ?

For Windows Server in any 64-bit version, with CPU >= 2.0Ghz, free hard disk space >= 2.5Gb and at least RAM >= 2Gb
Although the system can run with fewer resources, we consider that those described would be the minimum desirable.

3.- There is any changelog version and roadmap?

4.- Why can't I find the extension in the Plesk Catalog ?

The literal reason that we have been told by Plesk to deny the publication in the catalog is that it already has 2 antivirus or security tools and does not want competition between them, referring to "Sophos Anti-Virus Plesk" and "Premium Antivirus". Both antivirus are exclusively focused on email protection, while Flex Antivirus is developed to protect FTP, individual Hosting Files, Windows System, RAM Memory, compressed files and open processes in real time as well as emails accounts from MailEnable and SmarterMail.

We hope that Plesk will reconsider its decision in the future and we will see Flex Antivirus published in the catalog to facilitate installation.
